THE EXECUTIVE COACHING PROCESS

These are the normal steps in the Executive Coaching Process:

Initial Consultation

You book an initial consultation, where we discuss what Executive Coaching can offer and consider what you and/or your business are looking to achieve from coaching.

This consultation may be with the person within the business responsible for coaching, or with the individual who wants executive coaching.

This initial consultation is free of charge and naturally there is no obligation to go forward with coaching following the meeting.

The way forward

If you decide coaching is right for you, we arrange a course of coaching sessions. These might be weekly, fortnightly or monthly, and can be face to face, on the phone or a mixture. There can also be email support if you wish. See Executive Coaching Options for more information on the different options available.

In your sessions, initially the coach will establish with as much clarity as possible what you want to achieve from coaching (taking into account any remit provided by your firm) and together you'll formulate an action plan. This will focus on changes which would make significant improvements in your performance and work satisfaction.

Once you have a plan, you start making the changes using the coaching tools and techniques appropriate to your situation.

You will also have tasks to do after each session which help ingrain your new behaviours and mental processes.

Coaching Notes

After each session you are provided with brief notes setting out what we discussed and any actions you committed to. These are then followed up at the next session.

Coaching takes place around your own commitments, and usually in your own office, thus avoiding too much time away from your work.
