Your partner's behaviour will lose its power over you
QActually it's not me that needs a coach - it's one of my partners. He / she's the problem - but isn't interested in coaching.
AOur coaching is aimed at people who are already high performers and who are keen to learn and develop. Often these are not the people who "need help", and coaching is not remedial.
In terms of your partner, there are two aspects to his or her behaviour - the actual behaviour and the effect it has on you.
The latter is much easier for you to change, and coaching can help you with that. If you react differently, this can also affect the other person's behaviour, but even if it doesn't you'll have strategies for not letting it get to you.
QCan coaching help improve presentation skills?
AYes, it can be a great help with this. Sometimes you can learn all the techniques for presenting but if you don't have the confidence and don't enjoy it, you won't come over well.
Coaching can help you feel good about presenting and transform your performance.
It's common to hate networking, but coaching can help.
QI hate networking and cold calling. Can coaching help?
AThis is pretty common and yes, coaching can usually help. It depends why you hate it. We would investigate what was going on and help you adjust your thinking, your behaviours or your circumstances depending on what came up.
See our case study on cold calling for an illustration.
QWhen firms provide coaching for their fee earners, do the fee earners bill more hours?
AUsually, yes. Coaching can help people become more focussed and effective.
